PetBuddy Terms & Conditions


These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the PetBuddy website, mobile platform (if applicable), and other online services (collectively, the "Platform"), as well as any purchases made through the Platform.

By accessing, browsing, or using the Platform, you confirm that you are at least eighteen (18) years old and agree to be bound by these Terms, together with PetBuddy's Privacy Policy. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of future amendments to the Terms, without prior notice If you do not agree with these Terms, please refrain from using the Platform.


General

By using the Platform, you agree to:

  • Use the Platform only for lawful purposes.
  • Provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information.
  • Maintain the confidentiality of your account credentials.
  • Be responsible for all activities conducted under your account.
  • Immediately notify PetBuddy of any unauthorized use of your account.
  • Refrain from interfering with the operation or security of the Platform.
  • Not upload or transmit viruses, malware, or other harmful software.
  • Not impersonate any individual or organization or misrepresent your identity.


Registration and Account Security

To access certain features of the Platform, you may be required to create a PetBuddy account.

You agree to:

  • Provide truthful and accurate registration information.
  • Keep your login credentials secure.
  • Accept responsibility for all transactions made using your account.

PetBuddy reserves the right to suspend or terminate any account that violates these Terms or is suspected of fraudulent or unauthorized activity.


Products, Pricing, and Availability

PetBuddy strives to ensure that all product descriptions, prices, images, and specifications are accurate. However:

  • Product colors may vary depending on your device's display.
  • Product dimensions and weights are approximate.
  • Prices, promotions, and availability may change without prior notice.
  • Product availability is subject to stock on hand.

PetBuddy reserves the right to correct pricing or product information errors and to cancel orders affected by such errors. In such cases, affected customers will be notified promptly. If payment has already been made, PetBuddy will process the appropriate refund using the original mode of payment or another mutually agreed method, in accordance with applicable laws and company policies.


Placing an Order

Orders may be placed by adding items to your cart and completing the checkout process.

An order shall only be deemed accepted upon PetBuddy's issuance of an order confirmation, shipment confirmation, or other notice of acceptance. PetBuddy reserves the right to accept, decline, or cancel any order for legitimate reasons, including but not limited to product unavailability, payment issues, suspected fraud, pricing or product information errors, or other valid operational or legal reasons. 

Customers are responsible for ensuring that all delivery and contact information provided is accurate.


Payment

All prices are displayed in Philippine Peso (PHP).

Accepted payment methods may include:

  • Credit and Debit Cards
  • Online Banking
  • E-wallets
  • Cash-on-Delivery (where available)
  • Over-the-Counter Payment Partners (if applicable)

Payments processed through third-party payment providers are subject to their respective terms and privacy policies.

Orders with unsuccessful or incomplete payments may be cancelled without prior notice.


Delivery and Store Pickup

PetBuddy offers delivery and, where available, Click & Collect services.

For deliveries:

  • Customers must provide complete and accurate delivery information.

For Click & Collect:

  • Customers will receive an email or SMS once the order is ready for pickup.
  • Orders must be claimed within the prescribed pickup period indicated in the notification.
  • Orders not claimed within thirty (30) calendar days from the date the customer is notified that the order is ready for pickup may be cancelled. Any applicable refund will be processed in accordance with PetBuddy's Return and Exchange Policy. 

Delivery schedules may be affected by weather conditions, logistics limitations, or other circumstances beyond PetBuddy's control.


Returns and Exchanges

Returns and exchanges shall be governed by PetBuddy's Return and Exchange Policy.


PetBuddy Grooming Services

Before any grooming service is performed, customers are required to complete the PetBuddy Grooming Information Form and sign the PetBuddy Grooming Waiver. By signing the waiver, customers acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to its terms and conditions. 

Appointments for grooming services are subject to branch availability.

PetBuddy reserves the right to decline or discontinue a grooming service if a pet displays aggressive behavior, is found to be ill, injured, excessively stressed, or otherwise unfit for grooming, or if the groomer reasonably determines that proceeding with the service may compromise the health, safety, or well-being of the pet, other pets, customers, or PetBuddy staff. 

Pet owners are responsible for disclosing complete and accurate information regarding their pet's medical conditions, behavioral concerns, or special grooming instructions prior to the service.


Intellectual Property

All content available on the Platform—including logos, trademarks, product images, graphics, text, videos, and software—is owned by PetBuddy or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

No content may be copied, reproduced, modified, or distributed without prior written consent from PetBuddy.


Third-Party Links

The Platform may contain links to third-party websites for your convenience.

PetBuddy does not control or endorse these websites and is not responsible for their content, policies, or services.


Customer Reviews and User Content

By submitting reviews, comments, photos, or other content through the Platform, you grant PetBuddy a non-exclusive, royalty-free right to use, reproduce, publish, and display such content for marketing and business purposes.

PetBuddy reserves the right to remove content deemed inappropriate, misleading, unlawful, or offensive.


Limitation of Liability

Nothing in these Terms shall operate to exclude or limit any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, PetBuddy shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from:

  • Use or inability to use the Platform
  • Delays in order fulfillment or delivery
  • Errors in product information
  • System interruptions or technical issues
  • Third-party payment or logistics providers
  • Product misuse or improper handling after purchase

For products covered by a manufacturer's warranty, warrant claims shall be governed by the applicable warranty terms, without prejudice to any rights available to consumers under applicable law and PetBuddy's Return and Exchange Policy.


Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Republic of the Philippines.


Amendments

PetBuddy reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time without prior notice to its customers.

Any revisions will become effective upon posting on the Platform. Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
